Meta’s Threads introduced a feature that has long been part of Bluesky: custom feeds. now, Deploy to all thread users After a quick test, custom feeds allow you to compile a list of multiple accounts at once, usually all dedicated to a particular theme or subject. Its purpose is to give you quick and easy access to relevant accounts that don’t necessarily or don’t fully appear in your For You or Following feeds.

In this regard, Threads is catching up with Bluesky, which launched its own custom feed feature in May 2023. Bluesky offers several custom feeds to get started, and then you can create your own custom feed. X (aka Twitter) offers a similar option called Lists. It provides some default lists and allows you to create your own.
To set up a custom feed in Threads, sign in to the website, click the down arrow at the top of the screen, and select the option to create a new feed.[フィードの作成]In the window, enter a search term or term to find the account you want to add. For example, I used Star Trek as a search term.
From the results, you can add individual accounts to your feed, as well as the search term itself. When you add a search term, accounts that contain that term are automatically included. When finished, click Continue. On the next screen, enter a name for your feed and[完了]Click.
A new feed will pop up and display posts from the added account. If you return to the home screen and click the down arrow, you can choose to view the different feeds available: For You, Following, Liked, Saved, and any custom feeds you may have created. You can switch between new threads and recent threads. From there, you can create separate feeds and add as many as you like to access different related accounts, themes, and subjects.
