The newly released video confirms that Trump lied about his response to the January 6 attack during his campaign.
Trump waited three hours to respond to the 1/6 attack.
A new video released by a US House of Representatives committee shows Nancy Pelosi’s reaction to the January 6 attack, as she speaks about impeaching Trump and calls him a “domestic enemy.”

CBS News’ Scott MacFarlane reported:
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi can be heard talking about the immediate impeachment of Donald Trump. And she says he must pay the price for Jan. 6. And at one point in the video, she can be heard calling him a domestic enemy in the White House and urging him to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove him.
She also heard voices blaming some of the Capitol security guards who were no longer on their jobs in the hours after the attack on Jan. 6. But all of this is in context: The House Select Committee on January 6 concluded two years ago that it was Trump who waited three hours to urge his supporters, who were attacking police, to leave that day.
Pelosi can be heard in the video asking why the National Guard is not yet at the Capitol, and she also said lawmakers continued to question whether the Capitol was adequately prepared for a possible event.
Only Donald Trump could have sent the National Guard to the Capitol on January 6, 2021. So it is a lie for the former president to claim that Speaker Pelosi was to blame for the lack of security on January 6th.
While Trump has long used speeches to blame Pelosi for the lack of security at the Capitol, this video tells a different story and supports the findings of the Sixth Committee. It was Donald Trump who sat back and did nothing while the Capitol was under attack. It was Donald Trump who incited and supported the rioters, and it is Donald Trump who should never be allowed inside the Oval Office again.
