Twitch streamers, will you be receiving your Bleed Purple statue?
For YouTube creators, one sure way to show they’re successful is to win a YouTube Creator Award, a physical plaque that YouTube gives to channel owners who hit certain subscriber milestones.
At Twitchcon Europe 2024 in Rotterdam on Saturday, Twitch Announced It has its own version of these physical awards: the Twitch Streamer Achievement Awards.

The awards are given out under Twitch’s Streamer Achievement Program. Unlike YouTube, which awards based on subscriber count, Twitch focuses on rewarding creators based on viewership milestones.
Twitch Streamer Award Eligibility
Twitch streamers who reach a certain number of viewers based on time watched will receive Purple Blood Statue.

Similar to the YouTube version of the program, there are three different milestone tiers that Twitch streamers can achieve, which will reward them with three different versions of the Bleed Purple statue once completed.
Let’s compare the two programs.
YouTube gives out a Silver Creator Award once a channel hits 100,000 subscribers. Once a channel hits 1 million subscribers, they’re eligible for the Gold Creator Award. Finally, the Diamond Creator Award is awarded to YouTubers who reach 10 million subscribers (YouTube even created a special edition award for MrBeast, who hit 200 million subscribers).
To receive the Bleed Purple Statue, Twitch streamers must reach 5 million watch hours on their channel. If their channel reaches 50 million watch hours, they’ll be awarded the Marble version of the award. If their channel reaches a whopping 250 million watch hours, they’ll be awarded the Chrome version of the award.

According to Twitch, eligible creators will receive invitations to receive their Bleed Purple Statue later this summer.
