Instead of preparing for the presidential debates, President Trump is spending his time attacking Bill Maher and telling conservative media to ignore the comedian.

Bill Maher is an overrated “star” of a ratings-challenged show where fake, loud, obnoxious laughter erupts from the set every few seconds, even when he’s not saying anything funny (which is most of the time). He has terminal symptoms of Trump Derangement Syndrome (also known as TDS). Republicans should stop using him as a benchmark. His show is over!
In recent years, Bill Maher has followed the path taken by so many older white men who are upset that they can no longer say and do whatever they want without any accountability: finding supporters by appealing to Trump’s party, which is made up of mostly older white men who are upset that they are losing power in the face of demographic change, and then heroizing Trump for being able to say and do whatever he wants without any accountability or responsibility until 2024.
Maher’s transformation into MAGA Maher is really just a return to the attitudes and beliefs that Maher had when he hosted Politically Incorrect in the 1990s. The fake Maher was more of a left-leaning appeal, as Bill Maher has always otherwise leaned to the right.
Apparently, even MAGA Maher isn’t enough to ward off attempts to boot the HBO host out of Trump’s kingdom.
As Donald Trump prepares for the presidential debate in just a few days, he’s pissed at Bill Maher and trying to purge the anti-conservative pot-smoking grandpa’s name from conservative media over some jokes.
Trump remains a ruthless failure, and his demeanor comes across as more like someone looking to start a celebrity feud for the tabloids than someone fit to lead a country.
