Celebrities pay their respects Kris Kristofferson After the country music star passed away at the age of 88.
On Sunday, September 29, news broke that Kristofferson had passed away at his home the day before. “We are all so happy to be with him,” his family said in a statement Sunday. “Thank you for loving him all these years. And when you see a rainbow, know he’s smiling down on us all.”
Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum CEO Kyle Young He paid tribute to Kristofferson on social media on Sunday. “Kris Kristofferson believed that creativity is a gift from God and that those who ignore such gifts are doomed to misfortune,” the statement reads. “He preached that the life of the mind gives voice to the soul, and his work gave voice not only to his soul but to ours as well. He left a great legacy.”
