1. Can Douglas Utu take the No. 1 spot?
Five-star Las Vegas (Nevada) Gorman OT Douglas Utu is the highest-rated offensive lineman in the tournament. Rivals 5 starsStanding 6-foot-6 and weighing 300 pounds, he is the second-best prospect at his position behind David Sanders and enters the event as the No. 8 overall rookie in the Rivals 250 class of 2025.
Utu is already a top-10 prospect and the highest-rated non-quarterback expected to compete in the event, and while the West Coast blue-chip has some impressive footage, the real-world matchup against a variety of pass rushers, including speedy edge defenders, strong defensive ends and multiple hybrid linemen, will give Utu another chance to solidify his status within Rivals’ top 10 and close (or challenge) the gap on Sanders as the OT1.

2. The Carter Law vs. Jalen Williams matchup will be a good preview before football season.
There will be some prime-time one-on-one showdowns that are worth the price of admission. Rivals 5 starsBut as June draws to a close, there’s one Big Ten-themed matchup in particular that will be exciting for Jacksonville.
Carter Rowe is the No. 4 OT in the Rivals250 this season and the No. 12 player overall in the nation out of Toledo (Ohio) Whitmer High School. Like Utu, the elite offensive tackle has a chance to close the gap on Sanders and others in the position rankings and potentially even flip a spot in the top 15.
He’ll also face an opponent he’ll have to get used to in slowing down Rivals 250 DE Jalen Williams, one of the top defensive linemen competing in the conference. Williams committed to the University of Michigan earlier this month, which should provide a glimpse into the future of college football’s greatest rivalry, especially as far as the trenches are concerned.

3. Owen Strebig and Micah DeBose have a chance to bounce back.
Notre Dame-Committed OT Owen Strevig and four-star OT Micah DeBose are the two highest-ranked offensive tackles in the country ranked in the Rivals 100 this cycle. Marcus FreemanDeBose is the No. 64 overall player in the country in the S-Class. Ranked No. 98 in the country, DeBose is receiving offers from several of the top programs in the country at the forward position.
This will be an important on-the-field evaluation for both offensive tackles. Strevig and DeBose enter the event as the 8th and 10th ranked tackles in the Rivals250, respectively. Strevig boasts great size and will be matched up against a wide range of edge rushers. DeBose has great feet, power and positional versatility that should allow him to go head-to-head with both interior and edge defenders.

June is shaping up to be one of the most important months on the recruiting calendar, with numerous national events and camps taking place across the country, as well as official visits continuing and decision after decision being made, including many of the best offensive linemen in the country.
Of the group headed to Rivals Five Star, several are set to make their decisions just days in advance: Rivals 250 OL Michael Carroll picked Alabama and Zaire Addison just picked the Ducks, and they join committed OLs like Avery Gutsch (Michigan) and Strevig (Notre Dame) who went undrafted.
Utu, Nash, DeBose and Max Buchanan are still looking to make their decisions. Utu and Nash are in no rush. DeBose and Buchanan, who both previously pledged to Georgia, are both actively visiting schools. A summer decision is likely for both Rivals250 OLs.
