Multiple media outlets reported Sunday that the University of Oklahoma has fired offensive coordinator Seth Littrell after the Sooners lost three of their first four Southeastern Conference games.
According to ESPN, Littrell also serves as quarterbacks coach, a position that will now be filled by Kevin Johns. Multiple media outlets reported that co-offensive coordinator Joe John Finley will be directing plays going forward.
In its first year in the SEC, Oklahoma State is 4-3 overall, most recently losing to visiting South Carolina 35-9 on Saturday.
Next up for the Sooners is No. 18 Ole Miss.
Littrell, 46, is in his second year on Oklahoma’s staff after serving as an offensive analyst in 2023. He was scheduled to make $1.1 million this year as part of his contract through the 2026 season.
