Exinar, who currently attends the McDonough School in Owings Mills, Maryland, narrowed down more than 20 scholarship offers to two finalists, ultimately accepting offers from PSU and MarylandBut it was the Nittany Lions’ longstanding relationship with Exinol that ultimately made the difference.
Interestingly, Penn State was the first program to offer Exinar recruiting in 2021, and the consistency the school has shown since then helped secure the wide receiver a verbal pledge.
The Nittany Lions have a track record of producing NFL draft picks every year under their head coach and being ranked as one of the top teams in the country. James Franklin There were some standouts for Exinol.
“Penn State was my first offer, so I’ve been able to build a great relationship with them over the years,” Exinner told Rivals. “They’re consistently ranked in the top 10 and produce NFL talent.”
Exinner has visited Happy Valley multiple times, including an official visit on June 7. Franklin has also made multiple trips to McDonogh to check in on Exinner and the coaches during contact periods, and Exinner feels a strong bond with Franklin.

“I have a great relationship with Coach Franklin,” Exinner explained, “he regularly visits my school during recruiting season and we’ve had some great conversations over the years. I’ve only been in contact with Coach Hagans for the last six or seven months, but in that time we’ve had some great conversations, not just about football but about life.”
“My relationship with Coach Kotelnicki is relatively new, beginning with my official visit, but we had some great conversations about the team’s offensive strategy and ways I can contribute to the team.”
Exinner enjoyed his official visit to Penn State, a visit that gave him the opportunity to truly interact with the coaching staff and current Nittany Lions players, including his former high school teammates and a redshirt freshman defensive end. “The best part for me was getting the chance to interact with the staff and players, especially my old high school teammates,” Exinner said.
Exinol took an official visit to Maryland the weekend of June 21. Virginia Tech On the weekend of April 12th.
Exinar is the No. 12 player in the state of Maryland and is ranked as the No. 73 wide receiver in the 2025 cycle.

Standing at 6’2″ and weighing 215 pounds, Exinar has excellent size for a wide receiver. He uses his strong hands, measurable size and athleticism to his advantage and is difficult to bring down when he has the ball in his hands. Exinar combines desirable size, strength and solid speed to be a constant threat for opposing teams’ defenses.
“I would describe myself as a big receiver,” Exinner said. “My size allows me to overpower smaller defensive backs and I have the athleticism to control the ball in any situation. My size also allows me to evade tackles with ease, and my speed creates a scoring opportunity every time I touch the ball.”

“Jeff is a strong receiver with great strength and reliable handles,” Soule said of Exinor. “He consistently makes big plays every game. His commitment and reliability will make him a key player for Penn State.”
While Exinar excels on the football field, he is also a basketball player at small forward/wing level, and he has received three offers from Division I basketball teams. Siena, Radford and North Carolina A&Tand has received interest from several other schools.
With the Exinol pledge, Penn State’s Class of 2025 They currently have 20 total commitments and are ranked in the top five nationally.
