This memoir is about following your dreams and taking risks, even if it scares you. This is the story of how I became a travel influencer, moved abroad, and carved out a life I never thought possible. If you have a dream, this book is for you.

Now, I’d like to tell you why I chose each place – each one is special to me!
The book itself is called “Trevi Fountain at 2 o’clock on a Tuesday,” but it has nothing to do with Italy. But I’m going to Italy. It’s about taking risks, following your path and your dreams, and traveling, in general. But it’s also about time. We have such a short time to live. To really live. And this book is about making the most of it.
I only go to cities that I have visited, explored and personally love.

The essence of America! When we returned home from living abroad, we landed in New York by boat (with the dogs!). I remember driving down the paved roads and feeling a euphoria like no other. I’m also here with THE podcast. Erin McGough!

If you’ve been following me for any length of time, you know I’m obsessed with fall, and there’s no place in the world quite like fall in New England. Boston is a place I’ve visited every year since returning from living abroad. After so much travel in Europe, Boston has inspired me with a sense of wow more than any other place in the United States. The history here is truly one of my favorite things on earth.

On publication day, I’m heading to my roots in New Orleans. I was born in Dallas, but I didn’t consider myself from New Orleans until I was in second grade. My family is from here, and many of us still live here. If America has a body, I believe its soul is in New Orleans. The food, the culture, the history, the music. I’m honored to be here. It also holds a special place in my heart, as I celebrate my brother Michael’s birthday in style, surrounded by the city’s rich culture and traditions. I’ll be at Nowhere Bookshop at 6pm April 10th!

This isn’t Texas… Oh wait, it’s Texas!!! Houston is a sprawling metropolis where cosmopolitan meets cowboy. The city has a dynamic energy that’s exhilarating yet totally unique. From a space center that lets you touch the stars to bustling streets filled with world-class food and art, Houston defies expectations in every way. But the question is… who has better food?
