It’s been a rough morning for the media in general after last night’s presidential debate, but Joe Scarborough may be having one of the worst mornings of all.
As previously reported Political InsiderThe debate was a spectacular failure for President Biden, who often appeared flustered, slurred his words, got facts wrong and, as The New York Times put it, lost his train of thought with his “mouth agape.”
The normally compliant media watched the slow-motion car crash in real time and immediately began plotting to remove Biden, the presumptive 2024 Democratic nominee.
Lord Scarborough, who only three months ago called the president “less persuasive” and intellectually “better than he’s ever been”, is among that group and suggests that this may be the way forward.
“Joe Biden can’t beat Donald Trump now,” he said party officials told him.

Joe Scarborough – Replace Biden to save Democracy!
MSNBC host Joe Scarborough said Democrats need to make a crucial decision to oust Biden in the name of “democracy.”
It’s funny how the media’s interpretation of “democracy” is always scheming ways to eliminate the candidate the people chose. Like it or not, the majority of Democrats chose Biden.
Scarborough said he would say the same to his mother “if he felt she was getting in the way of our goals.”
Wow. What a guy.
“Right now we’re talking about democracy. Again, I’m not saying everything will happen today and maybe we’ll wait a week,” he explained, adding, “This is a fight for the future of American democracy.”
“And now is the time,” he declared. “Thank goodness it’s June and not October. June is the last chance for Democrats to determine whether this man we’ve known and loved for so many years is qualified to run for president of the United States.”
What a reversal.
In March of this year, the same person said of Biden:
“I’ve been saying for years now that he’s persuasive. But when I say persuasive, I underestimated him. He’s way more than persuasive. In fact, he’s been around for 50 years, so I think he’s intellectually and analytically better than he’s ever been.”

His declaration was so bold that he told his viewers, “If you can’t accept the truth, damn it.”
“This version of Biden is the best Biden ever, intellectually and analytically,” he stated, rather proudly, ignoring reality.

The meltdown continues
Aside from concerns that we must remove President Biden to protect our democracy, Joe Scarborough gifted us this morning with this great exchange.
Following this outlandish declaration, his wife, Mika Brzezinski, told the panel: Just settle down.
“Please calm down, everybody. I’m going to tell you why. You don’t have to whitewash what happened last night. It was a bad night for him,” Brzezinski urged.
“By the way, Micah, everything’s pretty calm here,” Scarborough said.
He later yelled, “You’re the only one raising your voice.”

Imagine what the reaction would be if a Fox News host were to talk about his wife in such a derogatory manner on television?

They are panicking, Joe is panicking, and really, the country is panicking.
