Mama June: Family Crisis Fan favorite Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon Efird and her husband Josh Efird recently surprised WEtv fans when news broke that the two had split in July.
After six years of marriage, they decided to divorce. Sure, they seemed like the perfect couple. Of course, who knows what goes on behind closed doors?
However, they seemed very solid in their marriage and were great parents, so no doubt this is a shock and must be leaving everyone wondering what happened.

But there’s one possible reason: At the end of season 6, Pumpkin’s sister, Jessica “Chubs” Shannon, asked her for a big favor: Jessie and her girlfriend, Cheyenne McCant, want to start a family.
