The 27-year-old education activist and Nobel Peace Prize winner said: Taylor Swiftof Eras Tour The event took place at Wembley Stadium in London over the weekend, and she shared photos from the event on social media on Saturday, August 17.
The Pakistani star attended the concert along with her husband. Assel Malikand a few friends.
“My first proper concert watching Taylor Swift surrounded by friends singing along to every song was magical,” Yousafzai captioned the photo. Instagram post.
The post featured several photos from the event, including one of her posing with Malik wearing pink heart-shaped sunglasses, another of Swift, 34, sporting three of her trademark friendship bracelets on her arms, and another of Yousafzai and two friends. of I am Malala The author also explained how much the event, and simply seeing Swift in concert, meant to her, recounting memories from growing up in Pakistan’s Swat Valley. Yousafzai further illustrated her explanation by including nostalgic photos from her childhood.
“One of my favorite memories from the Swat Valley is a field trip I took in middle school with my best friend Moniba (second photo, left). We giggled as we went to a hidden waterfall in the lush mountains,” she wrote. “We were so excited to finally be in school again and to be able to laugh and sing outdoors with our friends.
Her post continues, “Having lived through a time when music and the arts were banned, music felt like a gift to me. Moniba and I found the tallest rock we could, climbed to the top and announced to all our classmates and teachers that we were going to perform our new favorite song, ‘LOVE STORY.’ We sang our hearts out and enjoyed every moment. And that’s where my Swiftie journey began.”
Yousafzai, an avid fan, ended her post with a message of hope, referencing Swift: “I hope that one day we can live in a world where every girl can enjoy music and achieve her dreams,” she wrote.
Yousafzai has previously spoken about how she admires women in the entertainment industry.
