LG Nova announced the launch of its Partner Alliance Program, a new initiative to foster innovation through cross-sector collaboration between industries, co-create ventures and help startups scale.
Led by LG NOVA, the LG Electronics North American innovation center, the program will focus on bringing together organizations that will work with LG NOVA and its startup ecosystem to explore new concepts, validate and test those concepts, collaborate on product delivery and potentially co-create new businesses.
The company will leverage resources across LG Electronics’ business divisions and startups, as well as resources available through the Mission for the Future Initiative, another program within LG that collaborates with companies on technology innovation.
This alliance starts with partners who are already leading the way. IBM, Niantic, Mayo Clinic Innovation Exchange, Fujitsu Research of America, Hyundai CRADLE, and West Virginia Department of Economic Development.
The company said it expects to add new partners to the alliance program in the coming months.
“This program is a win-win for all parties, including LG, as we continue to explore new ideas for business co-creation. The growth of new ideas and cross-industry collaboration will help the market move faster towards a better future that benefits us all, businesses, people and the planet,” Kevin Chung, head of corporate and business development at LG NOVA, said in a statement.
