If you’ve always wanted to try Erewhon’s Hailey Bieber Skin Glaze Smoothie, today is your lucky day! It’s a delicious, creamy strawberry smoothie packed with skin-boosting ingredients.
For those of you who haven’t heard about Erewhon, it’s basically a high-end grocery store that sells organic foods and collaborative smoothies named after celebrities like Hailey Bieber, Bella Hadid, Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and more. This recipe has multiple steps and requires some special ingredients, but it’s an easy recipe to make. In my opinion, it’s worth the buzz.

advantage
As with any fruit smoothie, there are many benefits to healthy fats like banana, avocado, dates, etc. But since this recipe is specifically marketed as a Skin Glaze Smoothie, I thought it would be interesting to learn more about the benefits of the special ingredients.
collagen – Collagen has many benefits including skin health, joint health, heart health, gut health and nail health.
Benefits of Hyaluronic Acid – Hyaluronic Acid is a great moisturizer that plumps and hydrates the skin, and also supports healthy joints.
Benefits of Sea Moss Gel – Sea moss gel is a nutrient-rich gel made from seaweed. It has a texture similar to aloe vera gel. Sea moss is rich in minerals such as iodine, potassium and calcium, as well as vitamins and proteins. It is also rich in dietary fiber and prebiotics.
How to make it
Strawberry Glaze – First, chop the strawberries into small pieces. Bring them to a boil in a small saucepan with the maple syrup. Cook over medium heat until the strawberries are soft. Mash them with a fork. I find a slightly coarse texture works best for this recipe, but you can blend them as smoothly as you like.
Smoothies – In a blender, blend together the almond milk, banana, strawberry, avocado, pitted dates, collagen, and sea moss gel until smooth.
Prepare your glass by using the back of a spoon to spread coconut cream on both sides of the glass, working your way up. Add a little strawberry glaze to the bottom of the glass. Then pour the smoothie over the glass. Serve with a straw.
Tips on how to make it
- White Stripe – Whenever I make a copycat recipe, I want mine to look just like the real thing. In this recipe, one of the visually striking elements is the coconut cream I spread on the inside of the glass. I’ve used coconut cream (room temperature and refrigerated) but mine looked more transparent and understated, so to achieve the bright white color, I decided to spread it with coconut yogurt.
- Prepare in advance – If you want to make this recipe quickly and have the ingredients ready in the fridge, I recommend making a double batch (or more) of the strawberry glaze and storing it in the fridge as a week’s supply of smoothies. Once prepared, this recipe is super quick and easy to make.
- A pinch of salt – For a bit more balance, try adding a pinch of salt to your strawberry glaze or smoothie.
- Replacement – If you don’t have access to sea moss gel, collagen or liquid hydration, you can leave these out without making much difference to the final taste. These supplements add a skin-boosting boost to this recipe. However, you won’t be able to taste these supplements, and the recipe will still taste great without them.
- Alternative Raw Materials – Erewhon’s original recipe includes vanilla stevia (though I found it sweet enough without it), and some versions of this recipe recommend adding magnesium, so if you’re low on magnesium I also recommend the Sleepy Girl Mocktail.

Final thoughts
If you can’t try an Erewhon smoothie in Los Angeles, I highly recommend giving this homemade recipe a try. I knew from the first sip that it lived up to its reputation.
Since I started trying this recipe, my kids have been requesting it every day. They call it “smoothie with strawberries.” Honestly, it’s the best smoothie I’ve ever made at home. If you try it, please let me know what you think.
