Tensions are running high in the latest episode of General Hospital, with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) seemingly on the brink of a mental breakdown as Ava Jerome (Maura West) plots against Sonny and she manipulates his medication to push him over the edge.
The conflict between Sonny and Ava began with a custody battle over their daughter, Avery Jerome Corinthos, and Sonny’s threats and reckless behavior have raised concerns among his loved ones at General Hospital, including Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).
Meanwhile, Ava may use the situation to her advantage – and it could spur Sonny to act violently. The situation is further complicated by the involvement of Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stewart) and FBI Agent John Jagger Cates (Antonio Sabato Jr.).
