Vanity Fair The first images from director Jason Reitman’s upcoming film have been released. Saturday Night Live The film hits theaters on Wednesday, giving fans a chance to see the stars as their real-life counterparts in costume. SNL 1975will recreate the comedy sketch show’s first episode, which aired on October 11, 1975.
The Fabermann family Starring Gabriel Lovell SNL Creative mastermind Lorne Michaels and the original cast of “Not Ready for Prime Time Players”: Dylan O’Brien Starring Matt Wood as Dan Aykroyd, Matt Wood as John Belushi, Cory Michael Smith as Chevy Chase, Lamorne Morris as Garrett Morris, Ella Hunt as Gilda Radner, Kim Matula as Jane Curtin, Emily Fairn as Laraine Newman, and Tommy Dewey as head writer Michael O’Donoghue.
The film will be shown live from 10pm on the night of the event. SNLThe first broadcast and final episode of “The 1970s,” a suspenseful portrayal of the tumultuous experiment that ultimately made television history.

The format was something no one had ever seen before.”
First-look photos recreate iconic shots of the cast and offer a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes drama, from Belushi’s quirky attitude to the tension between Chase and Michaels.
The film stars Cooper Hoffman as NBC executive Dick Ebersol; SNL Cast members include screenwriter Rosie Schuster, Finn Wolfhard as NBC’s Page, Nicholas Braun as Jim Henson, Jon Batiste as the episode’s first musical guest Billy Preston, Naomi MacPherson as the second musical guest Janis Ian, Kaia Gerber as Jacqueline Carlin, Nicholas Podanyi as Billy Crystal, Willem Dafoe as David Tebbett, J.K. Simmons as Milton Berle, Joe Chrest as Herb Sargent, Taylor Gray as Al Franken, McCabe Gregg as Tom Davis, Andrew Barth Feldman as Neal Levy, and an unnamed Billy Brueck in an unnamed role.
