What is the plot of Andor season 2?
Andor Season 1 takes place approximately five years before Rogue One and A New Hope. The idea for Season 2 is to have three episodes each for the next four years, for a total of 12 episodes (24 episodes combined with Season 1). This is also the final season of the show, as the five-season plan they originally envisioned was changed to a tighter narrative covering the same main story beats.
At the end of season 1, after the death of Marva Andor, a large-scale civilian revolt against the Empire occurred on the planet Felix, where Cassian Andor was raised. All of the season’s plot threads and character groups collided there. The only exception was Mon Mothma, senator of Chandrila (soon to become Rebel leader), who was secretly funding Rebel operations.
Now that a spark of rebellion threatens to slowly undo the Empire’s previous deeds, things could get even murkier as the Empire becomes more oppressive and seeks to wipe out resistance before it can grow large. Of course it’s expected. Cassian Andor is now fully participating in Ruthen Rael’s daring operation, and we learned: Set up photos and videos His path would soon intersect with that of Mon Mothma.
Let’s not forget about the other main players of season 1, namely Cyril Kahn and Dedra Melo. Their relationship will definitely be difficult as they try to hunt down the rebels alone. As the Rebel Alliance grows closer and closer to the larger faction seen on Yavin IV, you may also see some familiar faces from A New Hope and the Star Wars Rebels animated series. Cassian, Luthen, and his closest allies aren’t the only ones trying to fight the Empire. And of course, as the series approaches the early stages of Rogue One, we can’t forget the Death Star preview at the end of season 1…
