The Anaheim Ducks recalled center Jansen Harkins from the AHL’s San Diego Gulls and added left wing Frank Vatrano to the non-roster list ahead of the birth of his child.
The Ducks also revealed that center Isaac Landerstrom is dealing with an upper-body injury.
Harkins, 27, appeared in 45 games with the Pittsburgh Penguins last season and had four assists. In parts of five seasons, including his first four with the Winnipeg Jets, Harkins had 13 goals and 18 assists in 199 career games.
Vatrano, 30, has one assist in three games this season. In 10 seasons with the Boston Bruins (2015-18), Florida Panthers (2018-22), New York Rangers (2022) and Ducks, he had 160 goals and 112 assists in 567 games.
Lundestrom, 24, is dealing with the effects of being hit in Wednesday’s 5-4 overtime win against Utah Hockey Club. He has one goal in three games this season and has 32 goals and 38 assists in 261 career games over seven seasons, all with the Ducks.
