Christina Hall: Impossible Couple: Tarek and Heather El Moussa.
Tarek El Moussa and Christina Hall famously divorced years ago, and Christina and Josh’s divorce is still fresh in people’s minds.
Tarek and Heather have built their own lives and relationship and even have a child together.
We often hear of exes working together, but in this couple’s case, the chemistry is amazing. Is Christina the one in the love triangle, or is she trying to be an ally to her ex? Third?
Is Christina Hall planning a threesome with her ex-husband and his wife?
HGTV Instagram On Monday, September 16th, Flip OffThe short video features Tarek El Moussa, Heather Rae El Moussa, and Christina Hall (née Christina Haqq and, of course, Christina El Moussa).
In the promotional footage, Tarek and El Moussa are seen embracing each other and smiling for the camera, as if posing for a photo.
Just then Christina Hall appears behind them — if this were a photograph, she’d be barging into their picture — and she slinks into the frame, shifting the couple so that everyone looks like they’re laughing.
The best choice in this video, besides showcasing their unexpected yet seemingly natural on-screen chemistry, may be the music.
The song in question is “Me, You, and Steve” by Garfunkel and Oates. The song is often brought up in discussions of fandom relationships, as the singer They It’s becoming a love triangle.
“I can’t believe it’s finally just me and you, you and me, and your friend Steve,” the song goes. Many of us have at one point been partners, friends, or innocently happy somewhere in between. Some of us have played all three roles.
What is “The Flip Off”?
Originally, Christina Hall was set to partner with Josh Hall on “The Flip Off.” The Halls and (now) El Moussa would compete in buying, renovating and selling homes for profit.
The contest will put a new twist on the now-familiar home-resale TV show genre. Love it or hate itSo it’s not a bad idea.)
However, Josh filed for divorce in July, and he and Christina are no longer life partners. Flip Off As you can see from the promotional video, the atmosphere is quite different.
Josh is already Flip OffBut the show itself, with this very new dynamic, somehow still keeps moving forward.
What’s unique about this subgenre of renovation shows is that the chemistry between the cast members is paramount. Property Brothers Observing healthy and harmful marriages
Obviously, HGTV isn’t portraying a “rival exes and new partners” situation, but what it is actually depicting could be a lot better.
Fans seem to like the vibe of the trio.
“This is amazing – ex-partners and co-parents are adults now,” one commenter praised on Instagram. “I’m so glad they’re all getting along! They’re both respectful adults and it’s healthy for the kids.”
Another person clearly agreed: “It’s great that we can support each other professionally. It’s a good role model for the kids.”
That being said… not everyone is enthusiastic. Some don’t see the point in filming The Flip Off without Josh Hall to balance the team, and others just don’t like the premise of the show in the first place.
