Anisimova, ranked 132nd in the world, beat eighth-seeded Navarro 6-3, 2-6, 6-2 to reach the National Bank Open final.
The 22-year-old former French Open semifinalist and 2022 Wimbledon quarterfinalist has now beaten four top 20 players in a row with wins over Sabalenka, Anna Kalinskaya and Daria Kasatkina.

Sebastian Korda’s Continuing his sensational summer form, the in-form American defeated second seed Alexander Zverev to reach his second ATP Masters 1000 semi-final.
Korda won 7-6 (7-5), 1-6, 6-4 against Zverev for his eighth straight victory and just his second in 14 matches against a top-five opponent.
