BYD Shark 6 will get larger payload due to GVM improve

Ironman 4×4 already gives a variety of upgrades for the favored BYD Shark 6 plug-in hybrid (PHEV) ute, and now it has introduced new kits that permit it to hold heavier hundreds.

The aftermarket auto engineering firm says it has launched the primary gross car mass (GVM) improve for the Shark 6, pushing its payload – the quantity of additional weight you’ll be able to legally carry – to north of a tonne and making it an NB1-class car.

Ironman 4×4 is providing Medium, Heavy and Further Heavy kits. All kits value $4190 fitted, and no matter which one you choose, the Shark 6’s GVM is pushed up from 3500kg to 3850kg.

That sees its payload raised from 790kg to 1140kg, although braked towing capability stays unchanged at 2500kg.

To realize these figures, Ironman 4×4 has elevated the entrance axle capability from 1610kg to 1800kg and the rear axle capability from 1954kg to 2150kg.
