Robert F. Kennedy has officially withdrawn from the Arizona presidential race.
According to A spokesman confirmed to The New York Times on Thursday night that RFK Jr. had submitted paperwork to be removed from the Arizona ballot.
The move to withdraw from the race follows reports circulating earlier this week from sources close to the Kennedy campaign that confirmed Kennedy would be endorsing Trump this Friday.
Earlier this week, RFK’s running mate, Nicole Shanahan, even admitted that continuing the campaign would only benefit Harris’ campaign. Not only that, but it seems the pair have decided to endorse Trump because Democrats have been trying to undermine and destroy Harris’ campaign from the start.
“We’re running the risk of Kamala Harris and Waltz becoming president because we’re getting votes from Trump. We’re getting more votes from Trump,” she continued. “Or we pull out right now and align ourselves with Donald Trump. And, you know, we pull out and explain to our supporters why we’re making this decision.”
Just one day before RFK was scheduled to visit Arizona on Friday and make a big announcement, the two have pulled out of the Arizona ballot and appear to be following through on their plans to support DJT.
from The New York Times:
“Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has filed paperwork to withdraw from the Arizona presidential race,” a spokesman for the Arizona Secretary of State’s office said Thursday night.
The move came a day before Kennedy, an independent candidate, was scheduled to speak in Arizona about the future of his struggling campaign.
Kennedy is expected to drop his candidacy after weeks of discussions between the two campaigns and potentially endorse former President Donald J. Trump, though people close to him have said the endorsement has not yet been finalized. On Thursday, Trump’s campaign announced that he would invite a “special guest” to his rally in Glendale, Arizona, on Friday.
The Gateway Pundit reported Thursday that a mystery special guest will be present when Trump holds a rally in Arizona on Friday, stoking speculation that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. might make a historic endorsement of Trump’s campaign.
