President Biden Withdraw from the 2024 elections Kamala Harris …He smiled at a campaign event and said he made the right choice.
Trump called his campaign headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware (now Kamala’s headquarters) on Monday and told staff that his decision to drop out of the presidential race was “the right decision.”
Biden says he would have personally attended Kamala’s big events if he hadn’t been there. Stricken by COVID …And he has vowed to be active on the campaign trail and canvass for the vice presidency as soon as he can.
The president addressed staff on an audio call for about four minutes, marking the first time we’ve heard from Biden since he abruptly announced on Sunday that he was dropping out of the presidential race. Passing the TorchHis voice was hoarse at times and he still sounded a little unwell.
Biden thanked his staff for their efforts in securing his nomination and said he would love working for Kamala.
There was no Zoom or video call from Biden, just his voice on speaker… I mean, he literally picked up the phone and called from his Delaware beach house where he’s isolating to fight the virus. He’s an old-fashioned guy.
But Biden may be on the way soon, as he has said he plans to stay out of the way for a few more days before returning to the business of governing.
