Young people will be the ones most affected by climate change and will live longest with the consequences of extractive economies, but they also have the opportunity to pass on a better world to future generations. Eco TeensAt age 14, Prajna founded an organization that creates conversations and campaigns to inspire young people to recycle and reuse products and packaging responsibly. She also produces podcasts. Green Storyand recently contributed an article to Earth911 titled, “How Teens Can Stop Plastic Pollution with a Bottle Cap.” In the article, EcoTeens Million Voice Campaign It encourages consistent recycling of plastic bottles with the caps on, but it remains a challenge for many consumers due to inconsistent practices in municipal recycling programs.
