MINNEAPOLIS — A 2-year-old woman and her father have been taken by ICE on Thursday, in accordance with a Minneapolis council member. The Division of Homeland Safety confirmed it has detained the daddy, who was with a toddler on the time.
Elvis Joel Tipan-Echeverria and his 2-year-old daughter Chloe Renata Tipan Villacis have been taken in south Minneapolis on their manner dwelling from the grocery retailer, Minneapolis Metropolis Council member Jason Chavez stated on Instagram.
A spokesperson for DHS confirmed that Tipan-Echeverria was taken into custody and that he was driving with a toddler when he was stopped. The company didn’t establish the kid’s identify, age or gender.

DHS stated that Tipan-Echeverria “was driving erratically with a toddler within the automobile.”
