The twenty seventh chapter of Uttaratantra of Sushruta Samhita is known as as Navagrahakrti Vijnaniya Adhyaya. This chapter offers with the Data of Navagrahas.
अथातोनासागतरोगविज्ञानीयमध्यावंव्याख्यास्यामः।।१।।
यथोवाचभगवान्धन्वन्तरि।।२।।
We are going to now expound the chapter by title Navagraha Akrti Vijananiya -Data of options of Navagraha (9 evil- spirits which seize kids) as revealed by the venerable Dhanvantari.
बालग्रहाणांविज्ञानंसाधनंचाप्यनन्तरम्।।
उत्पत्तिंकारणंचैवसुश्रुतैकमनाःशृणु।।३।।
The data about Balagrahas i.e. evil spirits seizing the kids, their genesis (origin) and administration (remedy of kids seized by grahas) shall now be enumerated. Now hear attentively to the identical pricey Sushruta!

Causes –
– Indulgence of dhatri – wet-nurse and Matru – mom in improper conduct in relation to the meals and actions as beforehand described in Sarira Sthana part – chapters 2 & 10

नमःस्कन्दायदेवायग्रहाधिपतयेनमः।।
शिरसात्वाऽभिवन्देऽहंप्रतिगृह्णीष्वमेबलिम्।।
नीरुजोनिर्विकारश्चशिशुजायतांद्रुतम्।।२१।।
The kid needs to be given abhyanga – anointing / therapeutic massage with previous ghee.
The kid needs to be stored in a clear place and lined with clear material.
Mustard needs to be unfold throughout the kid.
A lamp needs to be lit utilizing mustard oil and stored close to the kid.
A fireplace altar needs to be made. Hearth God and Krttika needs to be worshipped by providing oblations of Sarvagandha i.e. aromatic substances (like camphor, cardamom and so forth), adorned with garlands ready of seeds of crops like mustard, barley, rice and so forth. Worship needs to be accompanied by uttering of ‘Svaha’ on a regular basis.
Prayer – ‘I bow my head to you O God, the chief of Grahas. Please settle for the oblation supplied by title. Please relieve this youngster from sufferings and abnormalities shortly’.
